Refusal to collect e-mail without permission

Article 50-2 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of E-mail Addresses, etc.)


1. No one shall collect e-mail addresses by using a program or other technical device that automatically collects e-mail addresses from the Internet homepage without prior consent of the Internet homepage operator or administrator.


2. No one shall sell or distribute e-mail addresses collected in violation of the provisions of Paragraph 1.


3. No one should know that it is an e-mail address that is prohibited from collection, sale and distribution pursuant to Paragraphs 1 and 2 and use it for information transmission.






Article 74 (Penalty Provisions) A person who falls under any of the following subparagraphs shall be punished by a fine not exceeding 1 million won.


1. A person who displays, sells, or displays for the purpose of sale, in violation of Article 8 (4);


2. A person who distributes, sells, leases, or publicly displays obscene codes, words, sounds, images, or images in violation of Article 44-7 (1) 1;


3. A person who repeatedly transmits symbols, words, sounds, images, or images that cause fear or anxiety to the other party, in violation of Article 44-7 (1) 3;


4. A person who takes technical measures in violation of Article 50 (6)


5. A person who transmits advertisement information in violation of Article 50-8 A person who collects, sells, distributes, or uses e-mail addresses for information transmission in violation of Article 50-2


6. A person who transmits advertisement information in violation of Article 50-8


7. A person who fails to report changes in registered matters, transfer or acquisition of business, or merger or inheritance, in violation of Article 53 (4);
