Last month, the Enforcement Rules of the Food Sanitation Act were promulgated to make it mandatory for companies that make sundae and tteokbokki rice cakes, which are 'national snacks', to obtain a food safety management certification (HACCP, HACCP).

Accordingly, sundae manufacturers with two or more employees must obtain HACCP certification by the end of this year, and rice cake manufacturers with ten or more employees must obtain HACCP certification by the end of next year.

In order for food manufacturers to obtain HACCP certification, it is known that they need to manage and create a temperature record log (CCP) for refrigeration and freezing, and for this, automated measuring equipment and expensive software are required.

Food companies explain that it will cost 4 to 5 million won to actually get HACCP certification after making such preparations.

In the midst of this, it is attracting attention from food companies by providing an integrated management system from temperature measurement to management.

Dekist Co., Ltd., a company specializing in wireless IOT monitoring, announced that it will provide such a system through 'Radionode', a wireless temperature and humidity measuring device, and 'Tapaculo 365', a software developed in the form of SaaS suitable for a small market.

It can monitor 20 channels at a reasonable price for free, store 6 months' worth of data, and automatically generate daily reports.

In addition, it is designed to monitor the temperature of refrigeration and freezers on site with a smartphone, so it is effective in reducing material loss at food companies because it notifies you by text message and voice 365 hours a day, 24 days a year when an abnormal temperature occurs.

For installation, all you need to do is to purchase a radio node product on the Internet network already built in the field and link it to Tapaculo 365. It has a product line that supports various communication such as Wi-Fi and Ethernet, so it is easy to apply in a field with a lot of fluidity.

In particular, it is said that small and medium-sized food companies and small businesses prefer it because it is possible to build, maintain, and manage the system without a separate administrator, and the cost burden is not large.

An official from a food company said on the 19th that "regular field inspections for HACCP certification often receive positive evaluations from management agencies."
