Dequist (CEO Won-hee Woo) revealed a green light for expanding sales in the Southeast Asian market, drawing a hot response from overseas buyers at the '2016 Singapore Information and Communication Expo' (Communic Asia 2016).
'Singapore Information and Communication Expo', one of the four major IT fairs, is an event where you can understand industry trends related to new technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), virtual reality, robots, and smart devices/cities. This year's expo was held from May 4 to June 5 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
While 53 booths from 1,800 countries around the world participated, Dekist introduced 'Radionode', a data logger, and 'Tapaculo 365', a rental software (SaaS).
A company official said, “7 companies from 70 countries in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, and Malaysia, visited and conducted a ProductQuestion and quotation question. The response was so hot that all of them were sold at this site.”
In addition, by focusing on meetings with cooperative partners, the possibility of advancing into Southeast Asia has been increased. In particular, it is said that distributors selling European data logger products showed a lot of interest.
Meanwhile, the data logger ProductsRadionode is a device that enables wired and wireless monitoring through real-time temperature and humidity measurement. It is already used in many domestic industrial sites, and it is convenient because it can be monitored with a PC or smartphone. Since data values are transmitted in units of 1 minute, quick response is possible.
In fact, when a phone call was made to the site of a local exposition in Singapore and the tapaculo 365 notifies the state of the sensor by voice, the audience's cheers burst out.
In addition, Tapaculo 365 provides web-based industrial data monitoring service, and is equipped with report output including graphs, large data storage, and various sensor connection functions.
In the future, as the Singapore government recently announced a national vision called Smart Nation and showed interest in the Internet of Things (IoT), Dekist plans to expand sales in the Southeast Asian data logger market, centering on Singapore.
