Implemented the method of preventing serious accidents, closenessspace Release of sensors for management
- Smart sensor for confined spaces, UA58
Radionode has launched a new product, the 'PoE Smart Sensor for Confined Spaces .' The newly developed gas sensor reflects the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and is characterized by the integrated management of the four gases specifically mentioned in the law—carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen—with a single product.
Unlike overseas management standards, Korea's Occupational Safety and Health Act includes high concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) and excludes explosive gases. In compliance with these regulations, the ' Radionode PoE Smart Sensor for Confined Spaces ' developed by Dekist simultaneously measures carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and oxygen (O2), transmitting the data to a server in real time and providing the concentrations of the four gases.
When the gas concentration reaches a dangerous level, a built-in buzzer in the product emits an audible alarm to alert people inside the enclosed space to evacuate. It is equipped with a high-brightness LED display so that the gas concentration value is clearly visible even in enclosed spaces that are typically dark .
This Radionode PoE smart sensor for enclosed spaces combines the RN171WC product with the UA58 sensor cartridge. Reflecting the sensor's nature as a consumable item, the UA58 sensor cartridge is designed as a cartridge type that can be easily replaced by anyone. Therefore, when the sensor reaches the end of its lifespan, users can easily replace it themselves with a fully calibrated gas sensor, offering high efficiency in terms of both management and cost.
The RN171WC transmitter utilizes Power Over Ethernet (PoE) communication as standard, eliminating the need for separate power installation and allowing for rapid, low-cost installation. Furthermore, leveraging the advantages of wired LAN, the product incorporates HTTP, MODBUS-TCP, and TELNET server protocols to enable system integrators to conveniently store gas concentration data in a database. When Radionode365 (Radionode365), a remote monitoring software dedicated to Radionode, is used together, it has the advantage of dramatically reducing costs as it enables safety management even in small businesses without separate development and establishment of a server.
Radionode365, provided as a web Cloud Serivce, provides an all-in-one service that covers everything from data record management to sending text/phone alarms to managers and staff in the event of an abnormal gas leak. Safety and health measures obligations are automatically fulfilled.

In addition to remote monitoring, we provide Radionode Nest Panel software for on-site (local) monitoring. By installing the Radionode nest panel on the PC, the gas concentration can be notified in real time on a large monitor for field workers, like an electric billboard.
* Standards for proper air management specified in the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations: 18% to less than 23.5% of oxygen, less than 10 ppm of hydrogen sulfide, less than 1.5% of carbon dioxide (less than 15,000ppm), less than 30ppm of carbon monoxide
